Description

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been around for thousands of years, so why are therapies like acupuncture and fire cupping still seen as such a mystery in the west? This one-hour TCM basics course demystifies the theories behind these therapies and more.

Though our intuitive and interactive learning module, you will learn the meaning and application of Yin Yang theory, exploring how the concept of internal balance relates to health. And learn how the five elements, fire, earth, metal, water, and wood explain the properties of the body’s organs. Finally, you’re introduced to meridian theory, or the concept of Qi, and how it flows through the body’s twelve regular and two extraordinary meridians.

As long-time educators and doctors of TCM, the creators of this course are world-renowned experts. Their decades of knowledge and experience have produced a unique course that is short, easy-to-understand, and highly credible.

All of our courses and textbooks are faithfully derived from real lesson plans used at the Canadian College of Acupuncture & TCM in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Our expert instructors are some of the world’s leaders in TCM education, who have dedicated their careers to natural healing and bringing alternative medicine to the West.
